The Office for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing provides information and referral services on a variety of topics tailored to the unique needs of Deaf, Deafblind, or Hard of Hearing residents.


WI Program for Children with Special Needs

The Western Regional CYSHCN Center is dedicated to meeting families’ needs through a statewide coordinated system of information, referral and follow-up, parent to parent support, and service coordination through local public health departments and other community agencies.

Children's Long Term Support (CLTS) and Family Support Program

Wisconsin has three approved CLTS Waivers for children with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and severe emotional disturbances under age 22.  The purpose of the waivers is to help families support their children with severe disabilities within their own home.  This is funded thru Medicaid and local funding.  The CLTS Waivers cover a broad range of services, depending on a child's and family's identified needs.  Clark County assists families in the initial application process and service coordination to assure that all needs are being met when a child is receiving services.  Parents are an active part of identifying outcomes based on family needs. The Family Support Program provides flexible, but limited, assistance to individuals with special needs who are living at home, from birth to age 21. Each family involved in the program receives goods and services that are helpful to them. Each year the program serves over 20 families.

Langlade

Langlade Health Care Center

They ensure that each individual receives customized, innovative care designed around his or her challenges. Services are available for mental health, substance abuse, crisis intervention and support, developmental disabilities, adult protection, skilled nursing and aquatic physical therapy.

Aging and Disability Resource Center

The Aging & Disability Resource Center serving Adams, Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara counties provides information and assistance to older and disabled adults, their friends, family, caregivers and the general public. They can assist by evaluating your current needs and help provide options available to meet the needs of your personal situation.

Waushara County Family Support Program

The Family Support Program provides individual services and supports to families that include a child with severe disabilities. The program recognizes that meeting the needs of children who have severe disabilities may place hardships on a family's emotional, physical and financial resources.


Waushara County Department of Human Services

Their programs serve abused and neglected children, adults and children with mental illness, adults and children with developmental disabilities, youth offenders, adults and youth with alcohol and other drug problems, and children, youth and adults in need of residential and institutional care. They are also the agency responsible for the protection of vulnerable adults and adults at risk. Their Employment and Economic Resource Unit administers the Food Share (Food Stamp) Program, Medical Assistance, Child Care Assistance, Energy Assistance and Badger Care Plus.

PIER is a not-for-profit group which is an informational and support resource for individuals, families and professionals to help a child, youth, or adult with special needs.

Personal Development Center

Personal Development Center is the domestic abuse agency serving Marshfield and its surrounding areas as well as all of Clark County. They work with elderly, adults, youth, children and families to help keep victims of domestic violence safe and work towards eliminating domestic violence in their communities.

 

Langlade

Langlade County Department of Social Services

Children and Family Services provides services to maintain children in their homes when safety is reasonably assured; develop or repair a permanent family relationship; foster care licensing, day care certification and child abuse and neglect assessments.

Merrill Family Resource Center

The Merrill Family Resource Center is a place where parents can learn to be the best parents they can be. This nurturing environment allows parents to connect with resources, take part in parenting programs and enjoy activities with their children at no cost.

CAP Services Skills Enhancement Program

The Skills Enhancement Program is a locally designed workforce development program that assists working, low-income individuals obtain the skills needed to compete for living wage jobs. The program assists with tuition, books, and training-related transportation and child care costs that participants could not otherwise afford.

Waushara

CAP Family Crisis Center

The Family Crisis Center (FCC) provides assistance to victims of domestic violence and their families, friends and care providers. Services include shelter, a 24-hour-a-day toll-free crisis line, walk-in counseling, accompaniment for medical care and legal proceedings, referrals, and support groups. All services are free of charge (except DAAP) and confidential.


CAP Services

CAP offers more than 30 programs in five counties in the areas of job skills & economic security, business coaching & lending, community & real estate development, housing & transportation, child & family development, health, wellness & safety, and advocacy & community engagement.

Family Resource Center – Wautoma

The Family Resource Center located in the CAPsell Center in Wautoma, offers a number of programs including individual and group parenting education, anger management classes, and a safe exchange program for parents with joint custody of their children.


Head Start

This early childhood program for income eligible and special needs pre-school children and their families provides comprehensive services in the areas of early childhood education, health, and family and community partnerships. Both center-based and home-based options are available.
